The big Bullywood! My views are same as that of the author.

At any given time, a south indian director/musician/lyricst/actor/actress/… are far better than any of the north indian counter part. This is the truth. How can the north indians be so ignorant, God help them! Unless the mainstream media really brings south india in picture to change the attitude of the northies.

Now some friday humor (from New Scientist)

It is one of those questions that had never occured to us, but now we’ve heard it we can’t stop worrying about it. Ron Phillip asks how the concepts of clockwise and anticlockwise will be taught when all analogue clocks have been replaced with digital ones.

Yes, the bollywood crap is getting out of hand. The Hindu article is a great read. I cant imagine why would Maniratnam do a Hindi…he claims we dont understand him here. But did’nt he get immense accolade and money from Tamils all over the world? Dammit I will go watch guru for him and rahman, but why!!!! Damn those Bollywood buggers.

The concept of clockwise and anticlocwise is directional, but yes the satire is understood. We did much of our learning visualy, in the real world and real time…so what will the classroom of the future would be.

P/s: Did I tell u this header is looking excellent!

    Hi Karthik
Well technically a “clock” can never be discrete in time – therefore it cannot be digital. While some people use “digital” watches, the number of “digital” clocks I have seen on classroom walls or anywhere for that matter is exceedingly small. Anyway if it such a big problem you can always take the young kids to a round-a-bout and show them there.
