Namma Bengaluru

Few of my photographs showcasing some temples in Bangalore. Camera is FujiFinePix S5200 and added some photoshop effects for cropping. sepia etc..

This photograph was taken at the Perumal kovil in K.R.Market just opposite to Bangalore Medical college. Added the sepia effect to get that old pristine look.

When I opened my phone this website was running. You appear to know a lot about this. You have a good head on your shoulders.

Kudos. In my view, if all webmasters and bloggers made just right content material as you did, the web might be a lot more helpful than ever before.

Extremely helpful write up. You are more fun than bubble wrap. I was reading your write up and my stupid pet pig spilled a glass all over my new phone.

    Hi Venkat.

I did think of cropping out the wall from the picture only to realise that I am losing the aspect ratio. I will experiment with your inputs.

The second one does lack symmetry and sometimes may be an eyesore. I shot this from the angle because there was no way I can go straight to the gopuram.

You are right, the third one has quite a bit of noise, due to the fact that it is zommed shot.

Form this Rajotsava (Nov 1) many cities are going to be renamed. Bangalore -> Bengaluru, Mysore -> Mysooru , Belagum -> Belagavi etc…

    Hi Karthik
Some impressive shots here, my only recommendation would be in the first photo, frame it such that the wall of roof does not come into picture. Also I would get rid of the one tree branch coming vertically down. It detracts from the overall picture. I don’t know if it was intended or not but the lack of symmetry hurts the second one. The third one is fine sans its chromatic abberations, a bit of PS touch up would be fine here.

Idhu ellam panniyachuna, ennoda opinionla sema photos ayudum!

PS. Andha ‘namma bengaluru” super touch. Etho hardcore professional photograph magazinela irukiramaadhri iruku!
