Raj and Ravi have Rs. 21 between them. Raj has Rs. 20 more than Ravi. How much does each have (you can’t use fractions in the answer) ?

    Yes it’s that simple. Even I was surprised to read that this interview question goes unanswered by people for the single reason that there is an instruction which says not to use fractions and people get confused to give the answer.

    1 Rupee = 100 paise

    Raj = Ravi + 2000 – (1)
    Raj + Ravi = 2100 – (2)


    Raj = 2050 paise
    Ravi = 50 paise

    Finally do decimal places in answers :^)

    should be 50p and Rs 20.50, but you won’t construct it taht simple
