A thing of beauty

Paul Dirac

"It's more important to have beauty in one's equation than to have them fit experiment" – Paul Dirac

There is a mystical link between science and beauty. Quoting from a recently read article on beauty & science.

When symmetry was broken, four forces of physical world emerged, gravitational, electromagnetic, nuclear and weak forces. The universe is now seen as being made up of broken symmetries. What scientists are trying to do is to find this primordial symmetry by hypothesizing other symmetries that unify these forces. When scientist looks for explanations for what breaks these symmetries, they discover particles.
