July 4th, it is independence time.
Watching the Independence day made a riot of laughter on that day! The hero writes/creates a virus that infects the alien computers. Beautiful. I wonder how he knew the machine architecture, operating systems another other mundane information about the alien computers. This is one amazing piece of artistic liberty.
Meanwhile, I here people are uneasy to believe the logic in Rajini’s Shivaji!
Shivaji
.

- Only Rajini can come unscathed after acting in a movie like Shivaji.
- Some body missed the big advertising opportunity. Mouth fresher or is it chewing gum ?
- One more reason for me think Shankar is hyped.
- All laws break when it comes to Rajini. Rajini is a singularity!
- Rajini can speak English and the heroine has no chance to play pun on him. Kool!
- There is no pathos song when Rajini is bankrupt.
- Rajini again uses the color of Black to gain sympathy ?
- Rajini is surprised to know about CPR from Raghuvaran. I was wondering why CPR stuff suddenly popping up, to educate the audience of course!
- Rajini is Shivaji, MGR and Kamal. (Vijay and Ajith has to wait for a very long time!)
- ARR is loosing his charm.
- Once again proves my theory that Illayaraaja and Deva can score good music for Rajini.
- Rajin’s introduction song falls flat.
- Only Rajini’s movie can get such a hype.
- The Villan is pretty ordinary.
- Missed Senthil, Vinu Chakravarthy, Radharavi and Sarathbabu!
I think the list will be endless….

Overconfidence is a sin!
The Constant Gardner
.

The movie The Constant Gardner showcased in HBO was a treat to watch. This had an excellent direction, cinematography and editing. There are no steadycam at places and the jerky motion of the camera along with different views builds tension.
Cinema is a visual medium and this movie pays tribute to it. One has watch the movie to fell the difference. At places the directors shows less to show more.

Ramblings…
The big Bullywood! My views are same as that of the author.
At any given time, a south indian director/musician/lyricst/actor/actress/… are far better than any of the north indian counter part. This is the truth. How can the north indians be so ignorant, God help them! Unless the mainstream media really brings south india in picture to change the attitude of the northies.
Now some friday humor (from New Scientist)
It is one of those questions that had never occured to us, but now we’ve heard it we can’t stop worrying about it. Ron Phillip asks how the concepts of clockwise and anticlockwise will be taught when all analogue clocks have been replaced with digital ones.
